Enga and Papua New Guinea’s music sensation Daniel Bilip is set to tour Goroka, Port Moresby and Lae belting out his current hit song on the airwaves, homes and streets- Long Way Peren.
Details of his Long Way Peren 2021 tour has been released.
He will be in be performing at Goroka Lodge on February 12-featuring another household name McDonald Taylor.
A week later at Port Moresby’s Cosmopolitan Club on February 19.
Several other artists and band like Tasik Yard, Skipe Band, Eldiz Mune, Scraps Band and Sepik’s sensation Felix Yausi will be featured as well.
The Long Way Peren tour concludes at Lae’s Swing Bar on February 26.
Bilip’s Long Way Peren song is about love and romance with a young woman in Vanimo-a place he grew up when his dad was working as manager for car dealer Ela Motors.
He did his primary and secondary education in Sandaun and most of his songs are also about Vanimo and Sandaun.
His Long Way Peren song uploaded on YouTube three months ago by several publishers have registered a combined hit of around 40,000.
