Captain Ivor Nateleo from Yakamul, Aitape East Coast has taken up significant role as the aide de camp to Governor General Grand Chief Sir Bob Dadae.
The hand over and take over ceremony took place today at Government House.
Nateleo holds a Bachelor of Arts in PNG Studies and International Relations from the Divine Word University after completing his high school at St Ignatius in AItape and secondary studies at Malala Catholic Secondary School.
He later went for the Papua New Guinea Defence Force cadet recruitment and was successful.
He attended the Royal Military College in Duntroon , Canberra, completing a Diploma in Public Safety and Military Leadership.
Captain Nateleo also did a certificate course about Military Engineering at the school of Military Engineering Holsworthy Australia
He was involved in high risk security operations and detachment during APEC 2018 and 2015 Pacific Games.
Captain Nateleo was also detachment commander with the Engineering Battalion constructing roads between Madang and Mt Hagen.
